When? September 19th, 2008 Where? Grandview Golf and Country Club Tee times will start at 8:00am. Included in the tournament price is a tee package, driving range token, boxed lunch, 18 holes of golf, and a great lunch together at the club house. There will also be many prizes to be awarded. It's not the PGA tour, but you could win $10,000! There will be a $10,000 prize for a hole in one on a designated hole. Anyone can get at least one lucky shot, can't they?!! The 'Help and Hope' golf tournament has been created to help raise awareness and support for the Pregnancy Care Centre in addition to building a nursery at Faith Tabernacle Church which in turn will be used to serve the community. Faith Tabernacle Church is providing leadership and volunteer support for this 'help and hope' initiative. Faith Tabernacle has been operating in Halifax for over 75 years. The Pregnancy Care Centre is committed to helping pregnant women in need by providing emotional support, practical assistance and help facing the future with hope. Services are provided free of charge and funding is entirely by private donations and fund raising. Funds raised will be shared between the Pregnancy Care Centre and the Nursery Project at Faith Tabernacle Church. Tax Receipts are available. The Pregnancy Care Centre and Faith Tabernacle Church are not-for-profit organizations. If desired, donations and sponsorships can be designated 100% to either of the two initiatives. Come on out and join the fun! Participants may be publicly acknowledged and thereby be associated with Faith Tabernacle Church.
